Emerging Leaders Summit
The Emerging Leaders Summit is a one-night event for high school students across the Western Treasure Valley — a free evening of food, games, activities, and nationally recognized guest speakers designed to help young people lead in their schools, communities, and social circles.
The Summit grew out of the Engaging Youth and Young Adults pillar of HomeTown Competitiveness, launching in November 2013.
Every student who attends receives the message that they are valued, that their voice matters, and that their community is counting on them.
Program Status
The Emerging Leaders Summit is a historical 4RHC program. No future summits are currently planned.

The Summit has featured nationally recognized speakers including:
- Justin Skeesuck and Patrick Gray
- EJ Carrion
- David Edward Garcia

By the Numbers
Attendance grew quickly in the Summit’s early years:

The complimentary evening included a national speaker, food, beverages from Dutch Bros, t-shirts, and interactive activities. Planning teams emphasized that every participant received “the important message that they are valued.”
Communities served: Ontario, Nyssa, Vale, Adrian, Payette, Weiser, Fruitland, and New Plymouth.

Community in Action, Lifeways, Drug Free Communities, Ontario Lions, Malheur Federal Credit Union, Dutch Bros, Boys and Girls Club of the Western Treasure Valley, Origins Faith Community, Red Apple, Payette Boosters, and Ontario High School.
