The Investment in Caregivers Conference was a long-running annual event organized by Four Rivers Healthy Community for caregivers across the Western Treasure Valley. In May 2026, the conference celebrated its 25th year, marking more than two decades of supporting and connecting those who care for others.
Each year, the conference brought together volunteers, paid professionals, parents, and family members who care for children, seniors, and others. Attendees participated in a full day of education, networking, exhibitor opportunities, and community connection.
In 2026, the planning committee recognized that caregivers were increasingly able to find support, education, and resources through a variety of other community programs and services. After 25 years, the committee determined that the time was right to bring the Investment in Caregivers Conference to a close.
We are grateful to every speaker, sponsor, volunteer, planning committee member, and attendee who helped make the conference a meaningful part of our community year after year. For 25 years, this event provided an opportunity to learn, connect, and recognize the important work of caregivers throughout the Western Treasure Valley.
Our Roots
The conference’s roots go back to a grassroots effort called the Caregiver Alliance, which later found a home under the Lifeways umbrella before eventually settling with Four Rivers Healthy Community. From our beginnings as that grassroots alliance, through the Lifeways years, to our time with 4RHC, it was a good, long run — and we’re proud to have helped local caregivers obtain the training they needed close to home.

Held May 2, 2026. The 25th year of the conference and its final edition.
2025 — Caregiving with Courage & Compassion (24th Annual)
Held April 12, 2025 at Four Rivers Cultural Center.
2024 — Safety and Belonging
Held April 27, 2024. Featured keynote presentations on caregiving in community, caregiver wellness, and TBRI® principles, along with a Friday evening Spanish pre-conference on cyber security.
