The Used Book Sale is an annual fundraiser held in Payette, Idaho, with proceeds supporting the Dolly Parton Imagination Library (DPIL) across Malheur, Payette, and Washington Counties.

Community members are encouraged to donate gently used books ahead of the sale.
The Used Book Sale is an ongoing annual project — 4RHC plans to continue hosting it each year to support DPIL.
Event History
The sale began in 2022 and has run annually each February or March since, making the 2026 sale its fifth year.
In 2025, the sale partnered with PEO for the first time, with proceeds also supporting local academic scholarships through PEO in addition to DPIL. A companion sale was also held in Weiser in 2025.
The 2023 sale raised $1,200 (cash and PayPal combined), divided among the three DPIL counties.
