Pre-Conference Events

Poverty Simulation: Wednesday, September 24, 2025
Co-hosted with the Western Treasure Valley Food Systems Partnership. This experiential program helped participants understand housing insecurity, food access challenges, and healthcare barriers faced by low-income individuals.

Pre-Conference Reception: Evening of September 24, 5:00–7:00 PM


About the Conference

The 2025 conference was the fourth annual Four Rivers Healthy Community Conference, welcoming nonprofit leaders, healthcare providers, students, and community members to connect around improving health outcomes across Eastern Oregon and Southwest Idaho.

The conference featured up to 24 workshops across four breakout sessions. Some sessions were presented in Spanish or included Spanish translation.

Presented Neuro-Relational Integration™, helping participants develop adaptive leadership, complex problem-solving, and resilience through integrated mind, body, and spirit approaches.

Margaret Brown
Blue Zones® VP of Development. Explored longevity secrets from global Blue Zone® regions, discussing the Power 9® lifestyle factors and pathways for communities to achieve Blue Zones certification.
